The seminar Pedagogy and transmission at UCAD will explore the themes of the museum and the exhibition as pedagogical tools in the 19th and 20th centuries through a cross between France and England in the years 1850-1860 and through one of the first exhibitions of the Centre de Création Industrielle in 1968. Rossella Froissart and Catherine Geel will examine collections and exhibitions and their modernity as a vehicle and tool for transmission.
